Reiki
The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) means “Universal Life Energy” and is an ancient system of natural healing. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive, heart centered method of facilitating natural healing, which can be used to reduce stress and to promote well-being. It is intangible, invisible, formless, not of the senses, a subtle field of energy, the essence of life, universal life energy. Reiki manifests in us as health, joy, spontaneity, vitality, radiance, contentment, life, and knowing. We experience Reiki by remaining in the moment, letting go of thoughts, connecting to our breath, acknowledging any and all feelings and allowing ourselves to just be. In addition to individual Reiki treatments, Amethyst Point offers Reiki I and Reiki II classes as well as Reiki Share evenings. If you are interested in becoming a Reiki Master, please call our office for more information about the requirements and length of the program.
