What to Expect
A typical massage takes one hour. One and a half-hour sessions are available as well as half-hour sessions.
During your treatment your will be lying on a padded massage table, supported with pillows, in a side-lying position. You will be covered and only the part of the body which is being worked on is exposed.
Our rooms are warm, cozy and comfortable. It is fine to interrupt the massage if necessary, to use the bathroom. It is best to avoid heavy eating prior to a massage.
Relaxing music of your choice will be playing. Prior to your treatment you will fill out a medical history form and discuss your massage needs with your therapist. After that, all you need to do is relax and experience!
Massage therapy in pregnancy can include light and deep pressure, myofascial techniques, acupressure, reflexology and other techniques.
